CONWAY ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

Wednesday, September 18, 2024 beginning at 7:00 pm

Notice is hereby given that a public meeting will be opened at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Conway Town Office, 23 Main Street, Conway, NH to consider the following applications:

  1. A VARIANCE requested by FRED A. SIMMONS [FILE #24-16] in regard to §190-30.B.(2) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to raise the existing structure so the lowest floor is one-foot above the base flood elevation within the Floodplain Conservation Overlay District at 325 Transvale Road, North Conway (PID 251-49).
  2. A SPECIAL EXCEPTION requested by RWN REAL ESTATE HOLDING, LLC [FILE #24-17] in regard to §190-16.B.(4)(b) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to allow an accessory dwelling unit accessory to a duplex at 6 White Horse Road, North Conway, NH (PID 214-7).
  3. A VARIANCE requested by SNOWBOUND LAKE, LLC [FILE #24-18] in regard to §190-27.D. of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to allow an 18-foot encroachment into the 100-foot Shoreland Protection Overlay District structure setback to Conway Lake for a proposed addition at 37 Sunset Shores Road, Center Conway (PID 268-151).
  4. A VARIANCE requested by DEBBI KELLY [FILE #24-19] in regard to §190-28.E.(3) [formerly §190-28.C.(3)] of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to allow vegetation less than four inches in diameter to be cut within the Wetland and Watershed Protection Overlay District for riverbank stabilization at 32 Lee Lane, Conway (PID 262-37).
  5. A SPECIAL EXCEPTION requested by DEBBI KELLY [FILE #24-20] in regards to §190-26.B.(1).(f) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to allow fill within the Floodplain Conservation Overlay District for riverbank stabilization at 32 Lee Lane, Conway (PID 262-37).
  6. A SPECIAL EXCEPTION requested by DEBBI KELLY [FILE #24-21] in regards to §190-28.K.(1) [formerly §190-28.I.(1)] of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to allow protective riprap within the Wetland and Watershed Protection Overlay District for riverbank stabilization at 32 Lee Lane, Conway (PID 262-37).
